Raku Wall Tiles No 2

Raku Wall Hung Tiles. This is made up of 3 Raku fired tiles mounted on a white frame.
The tiles are decorated with copper matte wash and a mixture of white and yellow glazes.
Each tile is the product of the unique raku firing environment and can never be repeated.
The tiles are indented with man made tool marks progressing down to impressions made with coral and fossils.
Surface resembles corroding industrial surfaces which are being reclaimed by nature.

The piece is 86.5cm tall by 36cm wide and3.5cm deep.
It weighs 7,7Kg and comes complete with French Cleat mounts ready to hang.
