Stoneware hand-built vase. 40cm tall. Glazed with a satin matt white base coloured with areas of manganese, cobalt, copper and iron oxides. Additional oxide decoration is then added to the surface. The base glaze contains silicon carbide which produces a volcanic textured surface. This design works very well with tall dried flowers and grasses.
